Meet Dr. Kristin,
Chiropractor
Dr. Coleman is originally from Iron Mountain, in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. She grew up in a family of chiropractors, so she was exposed to the benefits of chiropractic medicine at a young age. She was very active and involved in a variety of sports and athletic activities from elementary school all the way through college. She attributes chiropractic care to keeping her strong and healthy, helping her return to her sport faster after an injury, and continuing to keep her healthy today.
Dr. Coleman completed undergrad at Albion College, where she competed in track and field as a heptathlete and majored in Exercise Science and Kinesiology. She then attended chiropractic school at National University of Health Sciences, in the Chicago suburbs. She practiced in the Kansas City area for a few years before moving back to Michigan. Over the years, she has continued her learning in various chiropractic manipulation techniques, kinesiology taping, cupping, soft tissue treatment methods, and movement analysis to provide more effective treatments, help her patients recover as quickly as possible, and live a healthy life.
In her spare time, you can find Dr. Coleman doing anything outside—enjoying the lakes, hiking in the woods, gardening, walking her two rescue pups, or exploring a new part of the metro. She also loves traveling with her husband and daughter.
Meet Dr. Carol,
Chiropractor
Dr. Carol is originally from Brazil. After suffering a back injury as a child, she began chiropractic care with the only chiropractor in Brazil at the time and from that moment, she knew she wanted to become a chiropractor herself.
She later moved to the U.S. to learn English and pursue her education. She completed her pre-med studies at Lansing Community College, and during that time, experienced another back injury that was successfully treated through chiropractic care. This reaffirmed her decision to attend chiropractic school, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College. After practicing in Texas for a few years, she and her family moved back to Michigan, a place they had called home for many years.
Dr. Carol has a passion for caring for patients of all ages but has advanced training in pediatrics, pregnancy, and postnatal care. She is Webster certified, a member of the ICPA, and also certified in FAKTR, with extensive knowledge in muscle therapy, rehab, taping, and cupping. She uses a variety of techniques including Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson Drop, Activator, and other low-force methods.
Outside the office, Dr. Carol enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids and dogs, reading, and staying active at the gym.
Meet Nancy,
Certified Massage Therapist & Reflexologist
Nancy joined Renew Chiropractic with a passion for helping others heal and feel their best. She graduated from Guardian Massage School in Sterling Heights in 2013 and has been practicing for over a decade as a nationally certified and licensed Massage Therapist. In addition, she is a certified Reflexologist, bringing a unique perspective to bodywork that focuses on restoring balance and overall wellness.
Nancy specializes in Swedish and Therapeutic Massage, using her skills to ease tension, improve circulation, and support flexibility. Her sessions are tailored to each individual, helping patients reduce stress while promoting both relaxation and recovery. She is also a proud member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), staying connected to the latest techniques and best practices in her field.
Before becoming a massage therapist, Nancy earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University. With her strong educational background and years of hands-on experience, she brings both knowledge and compassion to her practice.
Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring new activities, and finding ways to stay active and balanced in her own life. She also loves to spend quiet time reading, which helps her recharge and unwind.
Meet Zach,
Certified Massage Therapist & Reflexologist
Zach’s path to massage therapy is anything but ordinary. Before stepping into the wellness world, he served as a firefighter and EMS provider, where he learned the importance of calm focus in high-stress situations. Those experiences gave him a strong foundation in care, discipline, and resilience qualities he now brings into every massage session.
Movement has always been a part of Zach’s life. While studying at the University of Michigan, he was a competitive ballroom dancer, which deepened his appreciation for how the body works, moves, and heals. This passion naturally led him toward massage therapy, where he could combine his love of movement with hands-on techniques to help people restore balance and strength.
Today, Zach specializes in Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Active Stretching, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Prenatal Massage, and more. Whether he’s helping an athlete recover, a professional release work tension, or a parent simply take time to relax, his goal is always the same: to help people move and feel their best.
Outside the clinic, Zach still enjoys staying active and exploring new ways to challenge the body and mind — whether through fitness, outdoor activities, or simply learning something new.
Meet Katie,
Office Manager
Katie grew up in Williamston and now lives in Whitmore Lake with her husband, where they've been happily settled for the past four years. With a strong background in healthcare and extensive experience in chiropractic office management and billing, Katie has truly found her niche in chiropractic care, a field she's passionate about and deeply experienced in.
As the office manager at Renew Chiropractic since December 2022, Katie plays a key role in keeping the clinic running smoothly. She helps implement new ideas and policies, keeps the doctors on track with their day, and handles all things patient-related. From scheduling and billing questions to supplement recommendations, Katie is often the first friendly face patients see and the go-to for anything they need.
What she loves most about her job? Connecting with patients. Whether it’s swapping pet photos, life hacks, or book recommendations, Katie thrives on the relationships she builds every day. She’s also quick to credit her incredible team, including Nancy, the doctors, and Kyra, for making the office feel like a well-oiled (and fun!) machine.
Outside of work, Katie stays busy with her husband, kids, and their dogs. When she’s not tackling a home project, you’ll find her curled up with a good thriller or baking something sweet in the kitchen. Her mix of warmth, leadership, and everyday joy is felt throughout the office.
Meet Kyra,
Virtual Assistant
Kyra is originally from the Philippines, where she was born and raised. A licensed physical therapist in the Philippines, she completed her virtual assistant training through Hello Rache, a company that prepares medical professionals for remote roles. Her background in healthcare gives her a natural ability to connect with patients and support the team with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Since joining the team over a year ago, Kyra has worked remotely to help keep daily operations running smoothly. She assists Katie and prepares the team’s day before they even walk into the office, managing the schedule, handling reschedules, cancellations, and recalls, and making sure everything is set for a seamless patient experience. Kyra also brings her creative energy to the practice by designing social media content, quarterly newsletters, raffle promos, posters, and office slideshow presentations.
Outside of the office, Kyra lives an active lifestyle. She loves hiking, running, going to the gym, and practicing yoga at home. Her energy, attention to detail, and creative spark make her an invaluable part of the team, even from miles away.
Dr. Stalmack’s Story
“My first experience with chiropractic was due to neck pain. I was 12 years old and heavily involved in gymnastics and cheerleading. I was a base during stunting—which meant other girls frequently fell on my shoulders, arms and occasionally my head and neck. One school morning my mother came in my room to wake me up, and when I looked up from my position in bed, my neck went into a severe spasm. I really had no idea what was happening, which can be quite scary.
In addition to getting fallen on, I had a bad habit of sleeping on my stomach (which I don't recommend). At that time, I had never been to the chiropractor—even though my father had been seeing his chiropractor regularly since the age of 16.”
